None of which our doofus of a main character has. Which is why it's so amazing that the cartel hasn't been able to kill him yet.

But then again, nothing ever goes as planned with Jacob White. The man should've died several times in the first book, and here in book number two... no spoilers, but it gets messy. He just wants to write the next great best-seller about his cartel misadventure, but he keeps getting interrupted by people trying to kill him. Is it possible they'll never stop? Is this his life now? There's got to be a way out of this, right?
